Soltex Hot Sealant Cord

Soltex Hot Sealant Cord is made from a soft, cellulose wadding. It is made up from pure and recycled pulp. It is primarily used in the construction industry as a backing material within a cut joint, to provide support for the sealant or mastic. Its manufacture from cellulose wadding means that it can withstand the application of hot pour applied sealants, up to 180°C, the material will not shrink or melt at this temperature, and will retain a good shape.

Soltex Hot Sealant Cord is non-hazardous, and safe to use. It can be easily cut and installed on site to allow for various joint sizes. Sizes Available:

Roll Diams : 10mm – 50mm
